Google adds the new Major League Baseball app to Chromecast

Just on time. Google adds the new MLB.TV app to its own media streaming device, Chromecast allowing users to stream live games straight to the TV with a tap of the cast button. You are required to have a MLB Premium account in order to do so, which costs $130 a year.

Thats not all, MLB and Google have also teamed up and released a new update for the MLB At Bat app which now allows you to watch the big game on your TV and keep track of the score and other information like player stats, watch replays and the latest news updates.

 

With the new MLB app there are a total of 17 apps, don’t forget our list of official and unofficial apps that are available on Google’s chromecast.  available for Chromecast which last month also became available in Europe and the UK.
