While the ban is temporary and just lasts for 24 hours and is affecting mainly WhatsAppMD and Whatsapp PLUS users. As the official WhatsApp website states:

If you really need to use the app there is a way to lift the ban. Currently, the ban is done via your phone number and means that you won’t be able to send or receive any Whatsapp’s on that specific number no matter on what device you are.

Currently, the only solution is by getting a new phone number and changing the SIM card in your device to one with a different phone number. Of course, don’t forget to uninstall WhatsApp Plus APK or you will be banned again.

WhatsApp to ban users permanently in the future

This appears to be just a warning from Whatsapp but in the future users that have apps like WhatsApp Plus installed will be banned permanently from WhatsApp. To prevent this happening in the future, make sure to uninstall your third party Whatsapp client and wait for the 24 hour ban to be lifted. 1. I don’t see why people use whatsapp any way, you have a mobile device with data or a contract with SMS.

Use your SMS’s which are mostly unlimited or use a chat or email client !

All this fuss that can be solved by simply sticking up two fingers up to the whatsapp devs and not using their app and not paying for the token or whatever to use the official app.

Its all free advertising for them regardless of being negative.

Just say no to stupidity like this . . . there are alternatives and while your at it drop Facebook as well.

    1. Aye, sir!
You stop using Whatsapp while I’ll continue using it for messaging friends abroad which would cost an arm and a leg by using SMS. It’s none of your business anyway who’s using which messenger.

      1. So your willing to pay and support the devs at whatsapp when there are many other free options that are not banning users ? Fairly play to you sir keep supporting companies with questionable motives

        1. I’m not sure what’s questionable here when they ban those who’re using an unauthorised facsimile of their own software, even using the same name. Security and privacy could be compromised. What about publishing your own OS, calling it Windows Plus?
The alternatives to Whatsapp are of no use if none of my friends use them.

          1. Actually, wapp+ let you chat with all your friends that are using a standard wapp version.
Anyway you’re right, it’s an unofficial version! (that run much better than the standar).
