Microsoft is working on new cloud service called Sway

Microsoft could be working on a new cloud service called Sway. The software giant has a history of registering domain names of a future product before even announcing them and it has lately registered sway.com and several variants that indicate it could be a cloud based service. The other domains are the following: sway-CDN.com, sway-CDN.net, sway-INT.com and sway-INT.net

Currently the URL redirect to the Bing homepage. What also confirms the existence of the service is the recently registered trademark of Sway with a description, covering computer software; computer application software; online computer software and software as a service.

Microsoft currently already has an enterprise based cloud service called Azure and a cloud service called OneDrive. In Q2 2014 Microsoft’s cloud service has seen a 164% growth while Amazon’s web service has seen just a 49% increase in use.
