Amazon Prime Instant Video now available on Android

Amazon has just updated its Amazon app to version 5.0 on Android adding support for Prime Instant Video. Prime Instant Video is a service from Amazon similar to Netflix available to those who have an Amazon Prime account, it gives you access to movies and TV shows. The Prime Instant Video app can only be downloaded from the Amazon App

With the Amazon App you can access Amazon’s entire digital catalog

The new Amazon App for Android phones now enables US customers to discover and purchase all of Amazon’s digital catalog, in addition to an award-winning mobile shopping experience on hundreds of millions of physical goods

With the update, Amazon also added a feature that allows you to back up your device to the cloud giving you free 5GB of storage. Now lets just hope Amazon adds Chromecast support soon. You can download the app from the Play Store here and you can check out the Amazon Instant Video app here
