Android 5.1.1 update: Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 9

Google has just leaked a list of devices that will get Android 5.1.1. Spotted by reddit user djcater Android 5.1.1 update which is expected to release later this month will arrive on the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 9 according to the Android Audio Latency page. On the recently updated page, Google has mentioned Android 5.1.1 update as official platform version confirming that the OTA will start rolling out soon.

While both the Nexus 7 and Nexus 9 directly have the “Android 5.1.1” under the Software Version the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 don’t however, the Build number has been changed suggesting a future software update or change. It is yet unknown if the update will arrive on the Nexus 6 or Nexus 10.

Android 5.1.1 Will be a small update and we don’t expect to see Google introduce any new features, instead it will mainly fix bugs affecting Bluetooth, Wifi and Battery Life. Bellow the full Android 5.1.1 update Changelog will be posted once it has been made available.
