Samsung shows off the new Galaxy S5 in introduction video

Samsung announced its new flagship smartphone at MWC 2014 but the Korean manufacturer has just released the official introduction video of the new Samsung Galaxy S5 where it shows the design of the device in all its glory, it covers many of the new features the device will have and of course it will go over the new fingerprint sensor and heartbeat monitor which is placed at the back of the device. You can take a look at the video here:

We already covered most of the important features in our Top 4 new features of the Galaxy S5 post but the video seems to be mostly around the Camera, Download booster, fitness and then many of the new software features. The Galaxy S5 works seamlessly with the new Gear Fit and Gear 2 smartwatch as they all send data to the device’s fitness app to give a accurate overview of how you are progressing to a healthier life. As far as specs of the device which packs a 2,800mAh battery, 2.5GHz Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM, runs Android 4.4 KitKat a 16-megapixel camera and will be available in shimmery White, charcoal Black, copper Gold and electric Blue

The video also briefly shows how the device is resistant to water and dust but it is surprising to see how they have implemented this in the video as it might create some confusion. The video shows how it can resist steam but not actually water proof, the device can still break if it is submerged underwater for too long.
