HTC decided to skip 5.0 and directly jump to Android 5.0.1 as HTC One M8 Android 5.0.1 OTA build LRX22C is now available for the Google Play Edition. While non-Google Play editions will have to patiently wait for Lollipop to arrive you can now download the update OTA but it will take some time to arrive, if you can’t wait you can download .zip files here:

It took HTC a long time before it finally released the update with several delays but early last week rumors appeared claiming that the update was almost done and today VP, Product Management at HTC confirmed via Twitter that the update is now available
