Gravitybox for Android 5.0 Lollipop is now available

One of the most popular Xposed Module tweaks has just been released for Android 5.0 Lollipop. A few weeks back Xposed became available on Android Lollipop and while there are a lot of compativle modules (full list here) Gravitybox wasn’t, until now.

GravityBox provides an interface for injecting code into any app, including system services, allowing modifications of applications and system services at run-time. With this, you can modify Stock AOSP Lollipop 5.0 to your liking without the need to install a custom ROM, here are just a few of the many features GravityBox 5.0.0alpha:

  • CyanogenMod Pie controls
  •  Expanded Desktop
  • Statusbar icon coloring
  • Center clock in statusbar
  • Battery indicator style
  • Navigation bar tweaks including cursor control keys
  • Low battery warning policy
  • Advanced power-off menu (reboot, recovery)
  • Volume key cursor control
  • More volume levels for music stream
  • Option to control safe headset

How to install GravityBox Xposed Android 5.0 Lollipop

  1. Make sure the latest Xposed version is installed. Head over here to learn how to download and install Xposed for Lollipop
  2. Download, GravityBox APK .zip file here
  3. rename it to GravityBox.apk
  4. install the .apk file
  5. Make sure GravityBox app is installed into internal memory.
  6. Run Xposed installer
  7. go to Modules menu and activate GravityBox module
  8. Reboot
  9. You can now launch GravityBox
