Digital Newspaper subscription coming soon to Google Play store

The Google Play Store currently offers Apps, movies, music and even school books but the guys at Android Police claim that they have found evidence in Android Kit Kat 4.4 that there is a portal called Newsstand which could mean that Android users will soon be able to subscribe to digital newspapers and read them right on their Android device, the newsstand will also allow users to try out a free trial and offers a digital version to print subscribers.

Companies like Amazon and Apple already offer this service and has proven to be a great success. We expect to hear more regarding the newsstand feature in Google Play during the recently announced event taking place on October 24th where Google invites us to a “night out with Google Play”
