January 9, 2019 by Niels Bosch

It seems like its becoming a trend to redesign your Logo, last week Yahoo revealed its new logo and now Google might get a new, flatter logo too. Spotted by ArsTechnica in the new Google Chrome beta. Here is a comparison image of the new logo

Google new logo comparison

Flat seems like the new way to go in the design world, take example to Apple’s new mobile operation system iOS 7 redesign. The original Google logo from back in 1998 was designed by Google co-founder Sergey Bin using the free image editing software GIMP. The current Google logo hasn’t changed since 2010. The new logo was briefly used in the Chrome beta but has been pulled down since, ArsTechnica confirms.
