We are all aware of the fact that 4K televisions are very expensive, take for example LG’s 4K HDTV from 55-inch which costs about $6999 but hold on, there is hope. TCL a Chinese electronics manufacture is creating a 50-inch 4K HDTV for just $999 Engadget reports.
The TV will be available in September in the US as of now we don’t know if it will be coming to the UK or EU. Currently there are also other manufacturers bringing cheap 4K televisions to the US like Seiki which 4K television starts around $1299.
TCL’s line up will also 1080p models which include a 40″ starting at $399, 44″ starting at $499 and 55″ model starting at $799. The 4K television will have build in Wifi with Smart TV software that will allow you to view Netflix, Youtube, Yahoo Apps etc.
