Rdio first launched back in 2010 but has just launched its new iOS and Android app, offering over 20 million songs from 400 different music genres for free. Rdio allows you to create different stations or listen to the pre-installed stations (which are created depending on the Albums and genres of music you have on your iOS or Android device) allowing you to discover new songs and artist, currently the 2 main apps that offer a similar service are Pandora and iTunes radio, but what makes Rdio different you wonder? Well, its the fact that it is completely free, It doesn’t even have Ads! As Rdio states on its blog

We’re inviting everyone to listen to all of Rdio’s stations, drawing from over 20 million songs, through our mobile apps for iOS and Android without ever pulling out the plastic. Even if your subscription or trial has ended, you’ll be able to choose from 10 different station types — including stations based on artist, song, and over 400 genres plus You FM, a personalized station based on your listening habits — so you can keep the music playing for as long as you want at no cost to you.

Rdio is now available for iOS 5.0+ on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and Android. However, the app is currently only available for US, Canada or Australian users.
