Google to reveal smartwatch codename “Gem” on October 31st

It seems like suddenly personal technology has become the new must-build thing for all top computer and smartphone manufacturers. First Samsung revealed the Samsung Galaxy Gear, it has been rumoured for months that Apple is working on an iWatch and Microsoft is also working on its own smartwatch, but what about Google? Founder of AndroidPolice Artem Russakosvskii claims on a G+ post that on October 31st Google will introduce Android Kit Kat 4.4 and a new device that goes by the codename of “Gem” which is rumoured to be Google’s own smartwatch. The smartwatch will be part of the Nexus family and will run the latest version of Android (Android Kit Kat)
