Google forbids user testimonials in Play Store app listing

Google has just announced that from now on developers are forbidden to display user testimonials on its Play Store app listings as according to Google it is “Keyword spam”. Developers usually showed quotes and testimonials from “happy” customers or review websites but it appears to be that this is a sneaky way for developers to include keywords into their description, like this game from LunaGames:

The use of the words “Candy crush saga, Dragon gem and Shipwrecked” are all different ways to make the app appear under the search of these keywords. By blocking the use of testimonials Google is hoping to stop this. Want to learn how to program? Don’t forget to check out our guide
